Becca Smith - Producer

Mohawk College Broadcasting Student, who is highly regarded by her peers and instructors for her producing, organizational and leadership skills. Has acted as producer, director and news editor for many school based projects as well as extra-curricular activities over her three years of school. Is comfortable in both a studio and on location setting and is very capable of performing in both. Has above average communication skills, both written and verbal and an outgoing and personable personality. Excellent at both following instructions and delegating work to a crew or team.

Dave Brown -Director

David Brown is a Television Broadcasting student at Mohawk College pursuing to become a professional camera operator for sports, hopefully football or golf. He is a great video editor, being Avid Certified, which he is also hoping to use for videography or just to further his career. Camera work is his true passion, as well as sports which is his biggest focus.

Growing up there was always a video camera around the house, and such began his love for videography. It wasn't until 3 years ago when he was asked to film high school football games that he realized this could be a legitimate career path.

First thing you should know about Kennie so that there isn't any confusion is that her real name is actually Kendra but she prefers to go by Kennie. So now there is no need for you to mess it up. Kennie has a diploma in Print Journalism and Tourism & Travel. Currently enrolled at Mohawk College in her final year of TV Broadcasting and is a proud member and a co-founder of Squeegee Kids Productions.

She enjoys hiking, travelling, going to concerts, creating videos, photography, and spending time with of course the love of her life, her dog Tiger. Her dream job is to be a travel writer and incorporating film into articles or working for a travel network. If none of those work out she always has back up plan – marry Leonardo DiCaprio.

Kyle is a Broadcasting and Television student at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. He loves to edit, act, and produce material for various media outlets such as News and video shorts. His dream is to work in the News field and to shoot ENG segments on various subjects

Megan Amlinger -Production Manager

Megan is a Television Broadcast student at Mohawk College. She is interested in sports production, replays, and all types of cameras. Grew up playing all kinds of sports, particularly hockey. Eventually studying at SUNY Oswego in Upstate New York and played as a goaltender in the NCAA Division III. Eventually, she would like to do replays for a sports production company. She has worked with the NewTek 3Play system for Mohawk College Varisty Sports as well as playback for Ignite News. Megan has also done segments such as Question of the Day and Fit Tips for Mohawk College T.V. She enjoys travelling around the world to experience other cultures and wouldn't mind working in different places around the world as well!

Pat McIntosh-Camera Operator

From a young age Pat loved movies. his love lead him to many unexpected places as young Pat journeyed into the current Pat. Getting the opportunity to work on one is a dream come true, he aspires to bring his best work to Zombiewood and make something he is proud of.

Juan Arrieche-Camera Operator/Editor

Ever since high school, Juan had a keen interest in videography, so much so that he applied for a co-op position with TVCogeco and got a position there. After working with professional editing softwares and industry level cameras, Juan knew he was right at home. From there he was recommended to work for a freelance wedding video company doing rough-cut editing. Soon enough he found myself doing more edits with more responsibility, and more deadlines. This all led me to apply to Mohawk College's Broadcasting - Television and Communications Media program.

Masud Nazer-Audio

A graduate of Barton Secondary School, Masud is currently enrolled at Mohawk College in his 3rd year in Television Broadcasting. He also has a degree in Radio Broadcasting which he earned in 2013. It was to his benefit to get both sides of media in terms of radio and television. Mas has had his own radio show on Ignite Radio News while being a radio student and as well as a weekly news show MCTV at Mohawk College.

Luke Curtis - Lighting

A well-rounded broadcast student with expertise in VTR/Replay operations and technical work. An up and coming jack-of-all-trades, who has worked on Mohawk Studio Productions for the past two years and held many different roles and responsibilities. A newly appointed TP of the 2015 Special and Corporate events and repay/vtr specialist for Mohawk Varsity Basketball. I have also worked for CP24, being a TVA for the 2014 Mayor elections and CBC for loading and unloading work.

Nolan Banman-Audio

Nolan Banman is a Mohawk Television and Broadcasting student who is from Hamilton Ontario. He is outgoing and works well in a team, having experience doing mobiles, audio, and camera. Nolan has a huge love for sports and is always on top of everything to do with professional sporting events and news.
